Seamless Wi-Fi Coverage

Our first challenge was to blanket the sprawling house and garden with reliable Wi-Fi. To achieve this, we turned to Unifi networking gear. The house’s intricate layout posed a hurdle, but our solution was elegant: the Unifi Mesh system. By strategically placing interconnected Unifi devices throughout the property, we eliminated unsightly cables and ensured seamless coverage in every nook and cranny.

Fortifying the Perimeter

Next, we focused on outdoor security. Installing five high-quality security cameras was essential. Four of these cameras were hardwired to a Network Video Recorder (NVR) discreetly located in the ceiling space. This NVR stores up to 30 days of footage, providing robust evidence in case of incidents. For the shed camera, where running cables was impractical, we seamlessly integrated a Wi-Fi camera into our Unifi Mesh network.

AJAX: Where Security Meets Artistry

For indoor security, we turned to AJAX, a European company renowned for its aesthetically pleasing security devices. Our installation included motion sensors strategically placed throughout the house. When armed, these sensors trigger sirens both inside and outside, alerting neighbours  and deterring intruders. Instant notifications are sent to the homeowner via the sleek AJAX app. Notably, the motion sensors feature Photo On Demand (PHOD), capturing three photos upon activation and sending them alongside the alert.

User-Friendly Control

Managing the system is a breeze with the AJAX app. But we went a step further by installing a keypad. Family members can disarm the system using personalised PIN codes, and the homeowner receives alerts whenever someone interacts with the system. Convenience meets security seamlessly.

Smoke Detectors: More Than Just Alarms

Our commitment to safety extends to smoke detection. Our installed smoke detectors not only emit loud alarms but also send alerts directly to your phone. Imagine being away from home and receiving an early warning about smoke—precious minutes saved to prevent disaster.

Wired for Wireless: AJAX’s Versatility

AJAX systems are wired for wireless excellence. In this case, we opted for a wireless setup, powered by long-lasting batteries (with a 7-year lifespan).
